The Ready-To-Go Lysimeter is a compact station designed for soil columns with a surface area of up to 0.5 cm² and a length of up to 1 m. The mini-lysimeter method is commonly used to directly determine the actual evapotranspiration. It is highly accurate for sites with a root depth that is smaller than the lysimeter vessel’s depth. These include heterogeneous landscapes where latent heat flux can be measured with precision.
